Keeping it Together
Rollover to one fund!
Chances are you have had more than one job in your lifetime and therefore have a few super funds rattling about.
Having multiple funds can mean that fees could significantly eat away at your retirement savings over time and the insurance and other options of some superannuation funds may not suit your needs.
To keep track of your super you might want to consider rolling over all your super monies into just one fund. Before you do make sure you are aware of any exit fees or benefits you may lose prior to leaving the fund.

Find your lost super
Australians have more than $11.9 billion in lost super. As we change jobs numerous times throughout our working life, we often dont keep track of super. We also change home addresses and fail to inform the fund of our new details.
If you think you may have lost super you can do a quick search by:
- Phoning the Australian Taxation Office Superseeker hotline on 13 28 63; or
- Visit Australian Taxation Office and make sure you have your tax file number handy
