How to increase your cover

As an Industry Division member, you may be automatically accepted for one unit of Death, Terminal Illness and TPD insurance cover when you join Club Plus Super. If you are a Personal Division member, you may be eligible to apply for one unit of pre-approved cover.

New members also have the option to take up a second unit of Death, Terminal Illness and TPD cover without having to provide evidence of health. To take advantage of this offer, the Special Offer form will need to be completed and returned to us within 60 days of commencement.

Alternatively, you can apply for additional cover at any time, but you will need to complete the Personal Statement form.

How to vary your cover

  • Death & Terminal Illness only cover
You can choose to cancel the TPD cover attached to your Death and Terminal Illness cover by completing an Insurance Cancellation or Reduction form.
  • Fixed Cover
If you wish to ensure that your Death, Terminal Illness & TPD cover does not reduce over time, you can change from unitised cover to fixed cover. The cost of this cover will vary each year based on your age. You will need to complete an Insurance Cancellation or Reduction form to change to fixed cover.

Another way to increase cover without underwriting

Life Events Cover makes it easier for you to increase your cover when significant life events occur. You can take up extra Death, Terminal Illness and TPD cover without having to provide evidence of health for certain significant life events such as milestone birthdays, marriage, birth of a child, mortgage etc. To apply, you will need to complete a Life Events Application form.
