Which pension is right for me?
If you're ready to retire or semi-retire a Club Plus Pension can provide you with a tax-effective regular income from your super account. We offer two types of pensions:
- Retirement pension
This pension is also known as an allocated or account-based pension. You must have reached your preservation age and be in the retirement phase or be aged 65, or ceased work after age 60, or you are permanently incapacitated. For more information about when you can access your super and your preservation age, go to the ATO website.
- Transition to Retirement pension
This option can be beneficial if you are still working and either you want to maximise your retirement savings or want to reduce your work hours without reducing your take-home pay! Read more in the Transition to Retirement PDS or Transition to Retirement factsheet.
